- 01First, the dehumidifier pulls humid air through its high-efficiency air filter.
- 02The air then passes over the evaporator coil. The evaporator coil’s cold surface combined with the humid air forces water to condense, and droplets form on the coil.
- 03The water droplets begin to drip into the drain pan and run out of the dehumidifier through the drain tube.
- 04After the dehumidifier removes the humidity from the air, the dry air passes over the condenser coils and begins to heat up. The freshly warmed, dry air then releases into the space.
